What happens in the film
- A replay of Hand 42. The king of hearts comes on the river, Kate goes all in for 2,400, Leo calls and shows a straight. Everyone remembers this hand differently; Octofelt remembers it exactly.
- At the table: Kate keeps a hand over her cards, and Leo pushes his chips forward and says “Call.” A reader at every seat reads the Octofelt cards, a microphone at every seat hears the call, and with the Lamp there is video of every hand.
- The next morning the night is in the app: Hand 42 step by step, from the first bet to the river.
- Leo sends the hand to the group chat, and a friend who missed the night replies “I missed THIS?” The night's points are already added up.
- Mat, Mat Go, Mat + Lamp and Table. Play the night. Replay every hand.

Every Octofelt
Reads the cards
A reader under each seat and under the board knows every card placed on it. The cards look and feel like regular cards, with a tag inside.

Hears the action
A microphone at each seat picks up the action as players say it: check, call, raise 200, fold. With the Mat and Mat Go, that's how bets are recorded, so call your action out loud.
With the Lamp
Watches the table
The Lamp's camera looks down on the felt. It sees the chips move, checks the action, and films every hand for the replay.
After each hand
Octofelt puts it together: who held which cards, every action in order, the board and the pot. By the end of the night it's a replay you can step through, hand by hand.

Set the table
Roll out the Mat and plug it in with USB-C, like charging a phone, or set out a Mat Go tile for each player. Set it up once in the app.

Each player taps their phone at their seat. That's how Octofelt knows whose hands are whose.
